The chameleon voice of Alex Ebert jumps from laid-back placid to jagged shriek. “The Beat Goes On” with its simple accessorised synth hook is total eighties Ah Ha or Duran Duran. “Sex Symbols On Parade” is a guitar propelled ragged juggernaut. This is very high quality catchy guitar/electronic dance fusion, likely to be very popular in a short time. Definitely one that I'll be keeping a close eye on."
