Some more good news - College Music Journal
Hi All,
This is so geeky, but I thought I'd just let everyone know:
Our four song UK import EP is the #2 most added record on CMJ this week. I think we got something like 79 adds nationally, in terms of college
radio. Pretty exciting for us, I must say - this really blows our minds. Keep in mind - this is for an import EP! Crazy....
Best,
Justin

Why is that geeky? :P It's fantastic! That college word-of-mouth-playlist is a very strong indicator of ground-roots interest.
Now...get some large posters to those independent record stores near campuses. They love those things

I know what you are saying JMJ. The EP rocks and I love the production-value-add to the Ima Robot sound, but I can only imagine from what I've
heard of the album that eveyone is going to be blown away by the release on 9-16-2003 (if that date holds).
I think the timing and environment is really good for this one!
Do you know how the college stations are getting Dynomite. Is there a seperate college EP being sent around that includes Dynomite? Or just a
Dynomite single? Many of the adds in the states are for Dynomite, correct?

I just noticed that JMJ is a Spitfire now...

Wish that one made the cut to the album!

The only place I have seen the single for Dynomite mentioned is on that German or British online ordering service, can't recall the name...so I
think that the EP is getting the radio plays, likely any or all of the songs on it.
My college radio station loves EPs and doesn't limit itself to singles. I've heard some debate in favor of the EP over the album since you
can really pack it with good songs at a relatively low price.

But KFSD is playing Dynomite.
Where are they getting Dynomite from? A special single. I'm sure it’s a Virgin led marketing program for radio stations. Is it on a compilation
with other artists or a stand-alone disc? That's what I'm curious about.

Okay, then I have a question, too. If it is being played as a single, what's the B-side? The vinyl Black Jetta doesn't have one. After
hearing the excellent STD Dance and Spearmint, we were hoping these would appear as Bs, possibly on Dynomite or Jettas.
