Ahhh, another great review comes in, this time for the single "Dynomite" as covered by Modern Rock Specialty Spins Weekly.

Dynomite made the Weekly's "Best Bet" column and the single is currently #8 on the specialty charts! But what about that Strokes opener ref? Could they be mistaken and mean the Stripes?

Once described as "taught, brittle pop [that] unashamedly lifts from 80's synth pop and the Talking Heads' back catalogue to produce [music] that's both twitchy and pumped with adrenaline" (NME.com), Ima Robot is not your typical band out of Los Angeles. While they certainly exude that laid-back, ultra-cool, West Coast vibe, this band can hold their own. By the time their full-length album comes out later this year, they too will have opened for The Strokes. Their first single "Dynomite" is catching the attention of critics (and making them fans in the process) and getting airplay on both sides of the pond. So, be sure to look for them at your neighborhood hot spot in the coming months
