Hi Everyone,

So, I thought I'd give you an update, right here from the center of Blackout '03.

Besides having a great week here in New York of press, meetings, and parties, our show last night (Thursday) at Sin-e was obviously cancelled. There was no power to speak of, and we don't roll with acoustic bullshit. The club said forget it and blow it off by about 5:30PM anyway. Nice place though. It sure was fun to bring in all of our gear, set it up, then tear it right back down again when the blackout hit around 4PM or so. Anyway, that was that. God Bless our road crew.

HOWEVER:

Luxx in Brooklyn (Williamsburg) tomorrow night is ABSOLUTELY ON.

To those of you in the area, we need your support, so please join us. We want to freak it and have a vibrant evening with all of y'all. FUCK THE BLACKOUT!!!!!

Thanks...I'm going to see if the water in my room works now and snuggle with Joey.

Dang! Justin It totally didn't register that you guys were there during this historic event. Did you sleep on the sidewalk?

I saw on CNN that some Jazz band couldn't play so they totally hooked up the crowd with a show on the sidewalk which seemed kinda cool to me. You guys be careful, and rock the east coast, and Europe like a hurricane. We all rootin' for ya back home.

I think the next EP should be called "Snuggle With Joey"

Or, if twenty years from now they're old and decrepit and do put out the Mtv Unplugged, it should be released as the "Acoustic Bullshit" Album.

Luxx should be packed--no doubt everyone has cabin fever at this point and are itching to get out.

JMJ no "acoustic bullshit"? I thought there was an a capella future for you ala Scott Stapp.

It cracks me up that we were so entertained with that at the Dynomite video shoot.

If the power goes out during your set maybe Joey can lead the crowd through a big drum circle
