Loaded Love Versions

Which version do you prefer?

I'm gonna have to say the one that begins with the "ungh ungh ah ah ah".

"Let me be somebody’s mistake tonight"

There's a big difference between the two. I personally like the studio version. I believe one was recorded live at Moomba and the other was from a studio recording.

I haven't listened back to back for any lyrical differences.

I actually like the live version, but only because some sound guy messed with the levels something awful in the studio version. The drums sound poorly-tuned, as well.

Listening to them again they may be both studio. The one without the "ungh ah ah ah" is the original demo and the one with the ungh ungh ah ah ah" is one I magically pulled off of Grokster one night. Not sure what version it is now that I think about it!

I'm going to have to agree with the "ungh ah ah ah" version.

I wonder what they meant by that third "ah." Perhaps it is indicative of their view of realpolitik and U.S. foreign policy, especially in the Sub-Saharan African states.

Then again, it could be a reference to the '74 Baltimore Colts' season...again. We will have to revisit this issue after the album release.
