Teen Vogue Feature
Okay, so it's a bit of a buzzkill as I don't have the article, but we'll go pick one up tonight so we have it to share with you guys...
Anyway, someone on the site emailed about the photo of the guys standing with a dog. They wanted to know what kind of dog it was (!) Who out there
has this info so that we can all be informed?:duh:

That dog is a pomeranian, which belongs to our wonderful press lady at Virgin who goes to all our photo shoots/interviews with us. That dog is the
silliest, frendliest ball of fur any of us have ever seen, so we decided to incorporate her into some photos...you'll probably see more of her
later.
Otherwise, just want to say hello, and again give huge props to Drac & Phobiac for all the constant support and distribution of quality info. It
was just awesome to see you guys at Berkeley. Poops, Phobiac, Neuwave, Seacaptain, and all y'all of the core old-school, I want to say hey as
well. We're having a great time on tour, living together on our green bus but trying to ignore the earth-tones of the Santa Fe-themed
interior. The fridge is full of organic, vegan matter and we're ready for phase II. Anyway, see everybody soon, if not tonight at Viper.
Much love,
JMJ

Thanks for answering this and all our hard-hitting questions, JMJ, and for the shout-out. We love seeing you guys do well.
Re: the dog in the photo, Kyle's going to scan this article in tomorrow for all to see...the dog is seriously a charmer. She's posing for
the shot with what is undoubtably a huge grin on her face. She looks as ready for the photo as the rest of the guys!
Here's the text of the article:
People Are Talking About Ima Robot
Teen Vogue Oct/Nov 2003
"Early on in the interview, Ima Robot's lead singer warns that he's feeling a little off. 'I was standing on a pile of books with
a wad of money in my mouth and a noose around my neck for about five hours last night,' Alex Ebert deadpans, 'so I'm a little
lackluster.' As he continues, it quickly becomes clear that he's not kidding. 'Some of the books were paperbacks, which created this
intense wobble. My calves are killing me.' Alex undertook that little act in the name of--what else?--art, and his group's self-titled
debut is unquestionably influenced by his over-the-top, slightly nihilistic aesthetic. It's hard to listen to songs like 'Dynomite'
and 'Black Jettas' without thinking of early art punkers like Devo and David Bowie, but this L.A. band bring something new to the equation:
kinetic dance beats, frenetic energy, and sheer determination. 'We were very confident from the beginning that we were constantly on the verge
of changing the world and the face of music,' Alex explains. With that attitude, success is nothing short of inevitable."
