Ima Robot Video Shoot

Want to be in a video? Ima Robot will be shooting their video for Dynomite this Friday, June 27th. Imarobot.net has been given the opportunity to provide passage for some lucky .net’ers to be extras in the video. The group size is limited so first come first serve and pleases don’t request access if you can’t make it as others will want your spot.

The location will be somewhere around Universal Studios Hollywood in Universal City. Email me (phobiac@imarobot.net) your first and last name as well as a telephone number and email address by 12PM this Thursday, June 26th. Direction will follow. The video shoot will be from around 11AM to 3PM on Friday, June 27th.

The video is being directed by Roman Coppola and will feature Ima Robot performing Dynomite in a small club setting. Get ready to rock out. Roman Copploa has done videos for The Strokes, The Vines, Phantom Planet, Air, Fatboy Slim, Moby, Daft Punk. The Presidents of the United States of America…the list goes on.

I had an awesome time as well. It was nice meet phob and some other people. It was also cool to chill with Riff and Poopbanut as always.

I got roughed up a bit and got a little sunburned, but it was all GRAVY. The band was great. Those guys know how to rock the fuck out.

Oh, and I'm a member of this BBS now. PHAT.

Oh yeah , got some cool video. As soon as I recover from the Earthlink party, and get some work done today, I should have all Sunday to go through , and capture some stills to post up. Should be some doosies. So cool Roman Coppola was using same video editing techniques as me(Reverse that :D), but with way better equipment. :lol: (nice to know I'm on the right track). Duuuuude!! Could the whole band be any cooler?:cool: Just dawned on my I haven't met Oliver yet, and he's doing some insane shizno on the guitar. Don't get me started on that Spinach stuffed Salmon w/green beans, and rice pilaf.:D

Although the .net'ers were not paid ($20 to nuttymong the sole exception) we certainly made up for it in food consumption. ;)

Ok I couldn't wait. I'm watching it before I go to work. My favorite part is Justin doin the riff to "Looks That Kill" by The Crue.:lol: This is exactly what I wanted it's like kickin it at a jam session wit da boys. Tim was doing something in between takes that was simply sick.:cool:

It was so damn fun! And Justin was so kick-back and seemed really appreciative that we were all there..I was bummed to leave early..Anyone stay till the end? It'll be interesting to see the final product and to say, "Hey! That's my hand in the air!!":lol::D

You can't do much better than an Ima Robot video shoot during the day and a Beck show in the evening. Even meeting Zsa Zsa Gabor the next day would be a downer.

Seriously..It sucks that I couldn't tell my peeps at work about how great my Friday was! Even though they played Dynomite so many times, I just never got tired of it..Good stuff, man..

I should also say a huge THANK YOU! to the powers-that-be that got us .netters in to the shoot..It was a truly memorable experience! :D

Yeah..They had some "career background actors" there who were insanely surprised that we weren't being paid and we were there only cuz we were fans of the band..:rolleyes: :D

I should be doin some surgery on my video soon. I had a long weekend, but I did transfer the video to VHS so I can watch it on the fly, and it's turning into an artistic dream. Justins' impression of Scott Stapp was hilarious.

Well, I've finished going through, and snatching out some stills, and a couple of video clips. One thing did happen though I took some samples from impromtus, and made this pretty trippy lil ditty out of Tims' beatboxing(had no idea my boy had skillz) :D I'd like to give it to them as a B-side, or something that would be insane.

Well, I decided to hybernate indoors all day, and complete a "3-minute Music Video Short". Funny how a thought can occupy a whole day (seriously I think I forgot to shower today, but oh well it was worth the end product). Anyway, this has got to be the ultimate photo album. It's 67.4mb of high quality Digital 8 video/44,100Hz Stereo. I hope this ends up in the Getty someday.:saint:

Finally!!! Me & Phobiac have been racking our brains trying to figure how to get this frickin video up , and I finally got sick of messing with it , so I gave up , and went to enjoy my 4th which proves my theory of hardwork. When you get stuck, walk away , and think about it, then it came to me after my 6th Corona, 3 ribs, 3 hamburgers, and 1 hot dog..."why not just try to upload it to my old pals at "Acidplanet", and VOILA! It worked. So here's the video! Hope it lives up to the hype. Just click play , or download, and you will get the video , and audio.:cool:

Been waiting patiently for your review Drac. Thanx. Just discovered you can watch it in Full Screen also if you right click on the screen , and choose options then go to full screen. I do need to retouch a lil , but my philosophy is "once it's done, it's done". A crisper audio is available on MP3 download.


p.s. This whole project shows that Justin is "THE" bass player of our time-frame. Just ask Courtney, Air, Beck, etc. He makes anything sound like gold. I've still got more lil gems to play with , but haven't developed yet. Maybe I'll just keep the Scott Stapp impression as a private screening for a select Hollywood/Rock Star crowd.:P (Tim ;) )

Me & my friends just noticed that Oliver was bustin the Members Only Jacket.:lol:

Yeha, good job on the video Neuwave. I would have posted earlier, but I was messing with some of this BBS code for the upgrade.

I love the effects in Vegas Video. I really had this surrealistic feeling from the piece you put together.
