It might have been "cooler" had they hit Conan, but to get a national shot on Letterman ain't bad. And considering it appears the
"old folks" on the show (Paul S. included) may have been a bit flummoxed by the amazing energy, the band's cool factor may spike up
because of that.

You hope that just because their opinions are forcefully laid out in
print they're not unduly influencing the naive and weak-willed.
